Play is how children naturally communicate and process their feelings. Child-Centered Play Therapy is a developmentally appropriate modality for children ages 3-10.
Through symbolic play, children explore their inner experiences and discover more adaptive ways of meeting their needs. As a Registered Play Therapist™, I bring advanced play therapy skills to create a therapeutic relationship built on unconditional acceptance, empathy, and understanding. Children are encouraged to develop a sense of capability, problem-solve, and build self-control at their own pace. This relationship is what drives lasting change, forming the foundation for healthier thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
I meet with parents for ongoing consultations during the therapeutic process to achieve our goals. If you’d like to learn more about the power of play, you can visit the Association for Play Therapy.

Adolescent Therapy
The teenage years bring significant growth, change, and new challenges. Adolescents have unique developmental needs and today's world presents pressures that can feel overwhelming for both teens and their parents. Whether your teen is struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, navigating peer relationships, ADHD, or other life stressors, therapy can help.
Teens often respond best to therapy that engages them and their brain actively. I integrate expressive approaches like art and sand tray into our work alongside traditional talk therapy.
I meet with parents for ongoing consultations during the therapeutic process to provide support and share feedback. I partner with both teens and their parents to increase communication and strengthen relationships.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based approach that helps with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Trauma can leave you with negative beliefs about yourself that fuel distressing symptoms and hold you back from the life you want. EMDR combines bilateral movement with cognitive processing to help your brain and body relearn a felt sense of safety.
I use EMDR in my practice with teens and adults. If you'd like to learn more about EMDR before scheduling a session, EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) offers free resources to explore.

Individual Therapy for Women
My therapeutic background centers on supporting survivors of domestic violence. I work with women across many different life stages. Whether you're navigating young adulthood, finding your footing in the professional world, learning to prioritize yourself in motherhood, or processing childhood wounds — you have a place in my therapy space.
I prioritize creating an environment where you feel seen, safe, and accepted. I bring authenticity into the therapy room through compassion, curiosity, humor, thoughtful accountability, and intentional care. Together, we'll work toward your goals using evidence-based approaches, celebrating progress as we go.
My hope is that through our work together, you'll feel empowered to understand your story, strengthen your relationships, and grow into the fullest version of yourself.
